Make-up Workshops for Corporate Incentives / Private Parties

Why I love Teaching Make-up

Teaching make-up is one of my greatest loves, I find it so rewarding. This is an artform that with just a little helping hand and direction eveyone can achieve. Whether it be learning the basics; tweaking old habits or applying the ‘less is more approach’ – desposing of the unnatural heavy mask’ – you see with a few core principals mixed with a little repetition – fantastic beauty work will become an effortless achievement.

Over the years working in the industry I have witnessed the benefits make-up plays on our psychological emotional/physical well being – it’s such an important part of our life. I get so much pleasure from sharing my knowledge with others. There is an advantage to learning basic techniques and furthermore helping people to recognise its a theraputic fun process and not a task! –

How does learning to apply our make-up effectively benefit us?

– Boosts self-esteem – we feel femine and we all like to look and feel our best

– Prepares a great canvas for make-up for a smooth and glowing complexion

– Teaches the importance of a great skincare routine

– Confidence the makeover will stay put all day

– A great technique makes for an effortless/quick application with great results

– Fresh and up-to-date looks – exploring new and modern techniques

– How easy to have an on the go day to evening make-up

– Confidence to tweak a basic make-up, explore new styles and enhance your repertoire

How do the classes function and who are they designed for?

The classes are for 13 years upwards.

Numbers can range from a one to one up to 10 participants

Is it better to learn in a group or one to one?

We tailor the workshops to adapt to the size and level of the group so either way you are learning. We do recommend professionals to learn with a group so you have the change to work on a range of face-shapes and skin tones – sharing ideas is always helpful for product ideas and creative inspiration.

Do you use models for demonstration?

We will demonstate on either our own model or each participant will take it in turn to model depending on the style of workshop – then the group practice the technique on themselves (or on each other if it’s a workshop for professionals)
